For those in need of a glimmer of hope, or some supportive optimism, we present to you: Jack Wakeman & The Dreamstriders. Their brand new single ‘Visions’ is an apocalyptic new alternative pop track, driven by warm bass lines and rhythm brass samples. The band have created a grand and funky song that was written as a reaction to the yearning of a better life caused by social isolation, anxieties and uncertainty about the future.
The message behind ‘Visions’ is an important one; the need for societal change. Its upbeat intro does not represent the gloom of its message, which in turn makes it such an interesting track to listen to. “In a time of constant government failures we all yearn for better lives in the hopes that a brighter future is on the horizon even when the world is at its darkest, ‘Visions’ is a song of hope.”
