His main influences are The Beatles, Nirvana and Kanye West, he’s recorded his latest release at his flat in North London and started writing on his own for the first time during lockdown, his name is Michael Ransom and we’re talking about his latest single ‘I’d Do It Again’ taken from his debut EP which is due for release early next year!
“‘I’d Do It Again’ is about meeting someone, over doing it, and feeling like death after, but wanting to do it all again to see them one more time.” His sound is a soft and hazy one, an almost pensive, intense and seductive sound that wonderfully translates its message. It is the fulfilment, the longing and the discord we hear in his voice that make ‘I’d Do It Again’ an interesting track we don’t mind listening to again, and again.
