On the 16th of July this summer, Wembley Park will be the location of International Busking Day. With 120 performers and 10 stages, International Busking Day is set to be a wild and musical extravaganza! In its seventh year, the all-dayer will return with a set of big names alongside up and coming artists. The festival will be presented by Busk in London supported by the Mayor of London.
The line-up includes British country duo The Shires and folk singer songwriter Seth Lakeman, alongside electric string quartet Stringfever, Malawian busker Gasper Nali and Swedish street magician Charlie Caper. Little Stars Circus School is bringing their entire school plus professional performers to provide a whole day of aerial performance, and Leeds-based indie band The Dunwells will be performing on the main stage to get the crowd going before the festival’s headliners.
The free all-day event is set to feature a wide variety of disciplines and talents and will be a community-driven celebration of the many things that make the arts such an exciting industry!
