The distorted pop rock sound of Stockport-based indie icons Fuzzy Sun never ceases to amaze me as they amaze again with new single ‘Money’. It’s a powerful, eclectic and upbeat alternative indie track with exciting vocals and a daring soundscape and is taken from their upcoming EP ‘I’m Insane and Everybody Else Is Too’.
‘Money’ is the lead single from the forthcoming collection of songs and displays a glam-tinged alternative rock vibe filled with raw emotion. On the single frontman Kyle Ross lays into capitalism and the pains he feels it causes, “We all seem to be chasing money and material things. And I think it leaves us empty and unfulfilled. Despite that, it’s just so ingrained in us as a society and it prevails.”
The three-piece area tight-knit unit, having performed together for several years now and ever-evolving their sound and narrative. Their EP was partly recorded at EVE studios, where the likes of Metronomy, Everything Everything and The Charlatans have recorded, and partly at their home studio. According to Ross, the EP will portray “big tunes you can really sink your teeth into!”
