Singer, songwriter and word-wizard Azu Yeché has never before let us down, nor does he with his brand new single ‘Back of Me’. His beautiful vocals in the midst of the mix, this soulful pop song is a refreshing listen driven by passion and gorgeous vocal harmonies. The London-based singer, songwriter and performer has announced the single ahead of his forthcoming two part EP ‘Soul Afrikanah’. The rousing Motown-influenced track is a beautiful soul stomper with half time verses that lead towards a grand chorus.
So very catchy did it not really get before, because Azu mesmerises and enchants with his gorgeous sounds and vocal range. The compositions that make up his new song are refined and well-produced by producer Fred Cox who previously worked with Rag n Bone Man, Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder to name a few. ‘Back of Me’ is Azu in top form, delivering a song that tops all previously released songs, dare we say that? Yes, we do! Its ending drives home the uplifting energy of the song and makes us instantly want to press ‘play’ again!
