A guitar-heavy indie rock track was released by Australian five-piece Bocce. ‘Fortune’ is their latest, a catchy and uplifting, fast paced pop rock track driven by soft and strong vocals and a classically catchy soundscape that bends genres and breaks outside the confines of the indie pop norms.
The band formed in late 2019 and played some small shows ahead of being discovered on Triple J Unearthed’s competition. Their sound is bigger than their catalogue, especially on their latest, ‘Fortune’ is a thumping rock track that after listening keeps on playing in my head. It is driven by a gentle yet mature sound that builds to a crescendo of guitar-driven chaos. One I could listen to over and over again!
